Student Empowerment Initiatives
Our Student Empowerment initiatives focus on ensuring students have what they need to thrive—academically, socially, and personally. By addressing immediate, everyday needs, we help create an environment where students can focus on learning and building a brighter future.
Focus Areas
  • Care Kits & Community
    We assemble and distribute Care Kits that remove barriers to student success by providing essential hygiene and personal care items.

  • EmpowerHer Kits
    Feminine hygiene products such as pads, tampons, and panty liners to ensure students never miss class due to lack of access.

  • Youth & Kid Confidence Kits
    Personal hygiene items including toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, deodorant, and more—helping students feel confident and prepared.

  • Clothing Support
    Clothing items for students, especially those in alternative school settings who may need immediate assistance.

  • Support for School Programs:
    We provide school supplies for summer camps and respond to special requests from educators and administrators when urgent needs arise.

  • Community Outreach:
    Care Kits are available not only in schools but also in key community locations to ensure broad access:
       –   Public Library
       –   Boys & Girls Club
       –   Jefferson County Community Center


Food For Our Neighbors Program
Food For Our Neighbors initiative strengthens community well being by addressing food insecurity with dignity and consistency.
Focus Areas
  • Monthly Food Boxes:
    We provide food boxes to the Jefferson County Health Department each month for distribution to families in need.

  • Blessing Boxes:
    We stock Blessing Boxes throughout Jefferson County, ensuring neighbors can access food and essential items at any time.


Classroom Heroes Initiatives
Our Classroom Heroes Initiatives recognize that supporting teachers directly benefits students. By alleviating some of the financial and material pressures faced by educators, we help create positive, nurturing learning environments where every child can succeed.
Focus Areas
  • Teacher Supply Cabinets:
    Teacher Supply Stations are located in every Jefferson County school, offering basic classroom items teachers often purchase out of pocket.

    Each school has a representative on the Teachers Steering Committee who:
       –   Manages inventory
       –   Provides input on recommended supplies
       –   Ensures stations stay relevant and well stocked
